Administration Staff

Britton, Tina

A very experienced receptionist who joined the practice in 1981.  Deals with telephone calls and patient queries. Makes appointments, scans and files correspondence, prepares and hands out repeat prescriptions, records the receipt of new patient notes, distributes internal mail. Additional duties include assisting in our baby clinic sessions. 

Hollick, Pam

An experienced receptionist who joined the practice early in 2003 with 26 years NHS experience. Deals with telephone calls and patient queries, Makes appointments, prepares and hands out repeat prescriptions. Deals with post, scans and files correspondence.

Liversidge, Susan

Joined the practice in 1974. Provides secretarial support to the doctors. Handles appointments for the diabetic, occupational health and orthopaedic clinics. Computer codes incoming hospital letters and handles referrals. Point of contact for nursing homes and the district nursing team.

Long, Ruth

Joined the NHS in 1983 and has been employed as a practice manager since June 1990.  A very experienced practice manager, having previously worked across a three site practice.  Manages the running of the surgery, including finance, training, human resources, maintenance, surgery improvements, patient services and business development.

McMahon, Diane

An experienced receptionist who joined the practice in 1995. Deals with telephone calls and patient queries at the front desk. Makes appointments, scans and files correspondence, prepares and gives out repeat prescriptions. Additional duties include the electronic filing of laboratory results.

Parry, Susan

Reception Manager/Personal Assistant to Practice Manager. Joined the practice in 1988. A very experienced member of the team who is now responsible for the supervision of all reception staff. Also ensures the day to day running of the reception area runs smoothly. Acts as deputy to the practice manager in her absence and assists with the daily routines.

Pearce, Julie

A receptionist with four years experience in the NHS, who joined the practice in 2003. Deals with telephone calls and patient queries. Makes appointments, scans and files correspondence and deals with preparing prescriptions. Additional duties include assisting with Monday's baby clinic.

Reynolds, Janet

A receptionist / secretary who joined the practice in 2003, having previously worked in a pharmacy.  Deals with telephone calls and patient queries. Makes appointments, scans and files correspondence, prepares and hands out repeat prescriptions. Liaises with consultant’s secretaries to chase appointments and queries.

Sharman, Elaine

Clerical assistant / receptionist who joined the practice in 1990. Deals with answering the switchboard, scanning hospital letters, dealing with solicitors and insurance medical reports, assists on reception, makes appointments and processes repeat scripts, deals with general enquiries and secretarial work.

Stafford, Debbie

A very experienced administrator who joined the practice in 1986.  Deals with the scanning and filing of incoming laboratory, cytology and x-ray reports. Makes appointments, scans and files correspondence, prepares and hands out repeat prescriptions. Additional duties include the running of recall programmes for our Coronary Heart Disease, cervical screening, post-natal and our “Super Clinic” multi-illness sessions.

Starbuck, Carl

IT Manager: Joined the practice in 2004 with a background in Microsoft training and IT consultancy. Ensures the smooth running of the EMIS clinical system, performs clinical audits and trouble shooting.  Also acts as our health and safety officer and in-house IT trainer.

Willett, Nina

The newest member of the reception team, who joined the practice in February 2005. Receives patients at the reception desk, makes appointments, prepares repeat prescriptions and generally assists in the office.
